We are looking for escrow, reward 0.5% of the amount paid (max 0.5 BTC). Apply directly in this thread

Lottery.ChainBid.com

Hi people!

Lottery.ChainBid is the first New Year Lottery completely transparent and bitcoin based.

An address BTC (1Chain6W4cqXy6d7rWxxBnD1dsRRMmtdoC), is the jackpot.
All tickets are purchased through a payment of 0.001 BTC (or multiple) to this address.

If you register multiple payment amounts over the cost of a single ticket (0002, 0003 etc ...) will be awarded the most tickets to the buyer.
Any surplus in the amount (for example 0.0001 in a Chargers of 0.0011) is considered donation.

The serial number of tickets follows the blockchain timestamp of receipt of the purchase transaction.

The lottery ends with the extraction of the first block of the year 2016 (Starting then from 01.01.2016 00:00:00 UTC included)
With the hash (provably fair) of the first block extract in 2016, 99% of the proceeds from the sale of tickets will be sent to the buyer of the winning ticket.

Do NOT send from a Website Wallet! Blockchain.info wallets are OK.
To ensure that you are the real owners of the address from which we receive payments for tickets, you should not use webwallet (BlockChain.info okay). Many exchange (or similar) will not assign addresses payment, therefore, any winnings may be sent to another user.

This is our second project in the field of bitcoin.

In ChainBid project we have already paid several times the prizes of the completed auctions.
Obviously we do not oblige anyone to write in the thread if they win, but fortunately someone has done it and gave us  positive feedback, also  an Hero Member, as you can see.

We understand your distrust, although excessive,  and we try in every way to gain the trust of our customers, especially as we aim to conquer and retain them for a long time in view of the next interesting new projects and implementations of those already launched.

We look to the future and it would be really stupid to disappoint and betray your confidence for some bitcoin after so much work done. Smiley

Don't you think so?

Whatever you explain but if you want to attract more people to your service than I feel you should go with any reputed escrow until you gain a trust on this forum. Most of the gamblers know buying lottery is nothing but almost losing money but do not want to lose from site SCAM (not blaming you, but it had happened on this forum). Since your forum trust is not so high so if I want to buy tickets than I won't do that because of your trust rating,

Do you have any idea of chances of winning on multiple tickets ? For example if I buy multiple tickets ,will that increase my chances of winnings? Since its a online lottery do you have any percentile of winnings weighted on any numbers ?

More tickets you buy the greater the change of winning.

i totally agree with you, their are so many users coming with all news ideas and schems but at the end they all scam and run away with the invested money, of if you are genuine the using escrow should not be problem for you. and most of the lottery sites are scams.

Some of my thoughts:

* Your use of Math.ceil means if 20 tickets were bought, there's 21 possible outcomes? If the winning ticket is 0 (a 1 in a million), does that mean the house wins the lottery prize?

* You use "timestamp of the receipt" to order tickets, but there's no way (afaict) for you to prove to use this order. Perhaps you're better switch to "blockchain order" or doing what pevpot does, and sort by txid

* What does "first block of 2016" mean? Does it mean the first block in which a miner **says** it was in 2016 (using the timestamp field in the block) or does it mean the first block that you receive in 2016?  The first is vulnerable to a miner lying (only at the cost of block discarding) and the latter is hard for you to prove. Unless you want to go by blockchain.info's "recieve time" or something

* It has a 1% house edge, when pevpot for instance has a negative house edge (and supports forwarding from exchanges/other wallets) too  Grin

Check out gamblingsitefinder.com for a decent list/rankings of crypto casinos. Note: I have no affiliation or interest in it, and don't even agree with all the rankings ... but it's the only uncorrupted review site I'm aware of.

Now we can't use escrow, because the lottery has already begun and also giving to the escrow the private key, we could always spend it. For the future, we reserve the right to use escrow but we would prefer to acquire trust in order to work independently as we already do in the project ChainBid.

Than good luck with your new venture. No one is asking to give your private key to escrow but you need to transfer your money into escrow account. How much? it depends on how much business your expecting. If you start giving these kind of answer than from this forum you will not get any investors or ticket buyers.

and where is the problem ? You send this amount to escrow and resolve all doubt of member. For now you have sell only 67 ticket, , search an escrow and every 100 ticket for example, you send 0,1 to escrow

Why would we trust you if you dont use escrow? There is too much scams in Bitcoin and even if you done something right in past that dont guarantee nothing.

We can also evaluate escrow, and  reward him with the  0.5% of ticket sales (99% goes to the winner of the lottery) with a maximum payement of 0,5 bitcoin.

If there are no contraindications, we will move to him 0.1 BTC whenever that ticket sales will reach this amount.

Who is willing? but fast because only a few days in New Year.

You can always reward the escrow but there are few good escrow services which are free .You can search for master-p in the members section and leave him a message .

Great idea, I like the fact that you made the ticket price so low Smiley
I will buy a couple of tickets for sure once you get escrow sorted out.

Yeah I wouldn't participate without escrow, given that you're just a junior member with no trust.

Contact one of the sites trusted escrows(master-P is a great one) transfer the current funds in the lottery to the escrow address provided and change the OP to escrow address for rest of tickets bought and your problem should be solved. Giving the escrow you choose priv keys really isnt securing funds at all

I dont think this is a scam though, because it will be escrowed. The thing is who is he going to use as escrow, if there a reputable escrow will escrow this I think this will be going well for us and for everyone that want to do this kind of lottery. Btw the one who make this site is chainbid right so I dont think he will scam because chainbid site is still running, if he scam the reputable of chainbid will be gone forever. I dont think he would dare to take that scam risk

Now, if you have found a escrow and have provably fair, your site is safe, but for me you have start too late, there are only 15 day to the end of year and not have more time for advertise the site
