I was thinking in attaching some ducts to the fan outputs of the miners were it pushes the hot air out and those ducts will go outdoors. Like using the same miners as extractos... I was thinking that it was a better idea than using a room extractor because the room extractor will extract the hot air and the cool air from the air conditioner as well. But if the miners are the extractors, the cool air will just have one way to go, through the miners.
Avalon 6 are the miners that I intend to use.

To be efficient I don't think it would be worth the cost. The exhaust duct would help but it is still sending heat through all those tubes throughout the room. And expensive to do it right.

If it's a lot a gable fan works pretty well. I pushed the hot air with a lot of CFM's of fan twords gable and it exhausted it. In my mining area. There are also some vents that the hot air goes out of. But main thing was getting a commercial grade gable fan as far as exhust - http://www.homedepot.com/p/QuietCool-Professional-3013-CFM-Power-Gable-Mount-Attic-Fan-AFG-PRO-3-0/206047381 That thing did a LOT more then the standard gable fan that was in it before. Also have it on a temperature sensor so it is off a lot now that winter air is here.

I think it would be quite expensive with these pipes but you can try with a cheaper one..

I think it's a good idea to use ducts to take hot air out of the room and keep the room cool. You can use those rigid round aluminium ventilation duct for kitchen. Those aren't expensive.

I think it would be quite expensive with these pipes but you can try with a cheaper one..
It depends on quality and what ones you get. I mean there is insulated, non-insulated, different materials, cost varies greatly depending on which duct you pick. I personally prefer to use CFM to push it all away from miners. No duct just have the space to push hot air back past miners. And extract it from there.

Apart from other helpful advices in this thread you should consider that the noize you have in the room when the miners are running might increase dramatically if you will attach some ducts to the fan outputs.

Insulated duct is cheaper than I would have thought then. I guess if you can plan the tubes to not be a giant octopus throughout your room then it may work. I stand corrected I suppose

I saw somewhere that a guy was 3d printing a mold that fit the ends of the 'S' Series Bitmains that you could attach tubing to. I'll look for it and post it here. I'm curious to see how this works. I have plans to deploy an S7 in my garage in the next few weeks, but once it's not winter anymore, I'll have to pull it inside. Don't have a lot of room, so I'm curious on how you are getting the air outside? Dryer vent 'Y' adapter?

If i were you, i would place fans at the end of tubes also.. If the tubes are very long, maybe you will create a bigger issue, because the air might get trapped inside the tubes overheating the miners. Placing a fan in the end wolud be what i would do..

I agree with this Place in front of a window with an exhaust fan sucking the heat out or with a fan blowing the heat out

If you can find a cheap way to do it. I think that it will really be worth your money as you would get better cooling efficiency, like you said.

Obviously, the electricity produced depends on the temperature differential. How big would the peltier junction need to be to keep pace with the miner?

That's a great idea. I think it is possible to compensate partly electricity consumption with this method. Of course we can't compensate it completely because this would mean we invented a perpetuum mobile.

Run them in the garage. Keep the garage door open about 6" and use a strong fan to push hot air out. Zero cost if you already have a strong fan.

I don't see this working unless you use something to push heat through and push it to the bottom of garage like duct work. Heat rises so 6" at bottom is not really where the hot air is, it would be at the top. In my mining area I use a lot of CFM's to push heat away from the miners and at far end exhaust it through a professional gable fan, that does a lot more than standard gable fan. I also have vent's helping in roof. I let the heat rise and get rid of it. But it's winter so I have been able to turn down fan's and save a little overhead as it is so darn cold right now for me.
