Hello,

I used bitinstant to send bitcoin to email, I received a confirmation email from bitinstant with the coinapult url, I have not received anything from coinapult and when I click on the link to retrieve my coins its says I have a 0 balance.  I should receive an email from coinapult as well correct?  I used the same email address for both forms you fill out at bitinstant.

How long does it take?  Its been about 3 hours....  I've contacted support on both sites, have not heard anything yet...

I have not tried that before, but it is likely that they are waiting on confirmations in the network.  If they need one confirmation , which is the bare minimum it could take 10 minutes.  If they need 6 which is customary, it could take 40 minutes to an hour.

Thanks, I though tho that it was supposed to go through in under an hour...Here is something from their FAQ page

When I send the Bitcoins to Coinapult, does it wait for six confirmations?
No. The Bitcoins are sent to your recipient immediately - no waiting for confirmations

I'm assuming you were very careful about the wallet address you provided to make sure it was not truncated in a copy and paste.

I didn't read this entire thread but it looks similar to what you're dealing with.

I used cash -> bitcoin to email address, not directly to a wallet.  I'm supposed to get a email from coinapult with a link to click on so I can access the coins I bought.  You have to type in a pin to release the bitcoins to an bitcoin address.  I have not received an email from coinapult.

Thanks for the replies nonetheless...  Smiley

I registered to say that the exact same thing happened to me.

I did Cash -> Email, paid at a CVS through Moneygram, when I got home the email that my transfer went through was waiting in my inbox with the url to coinapult. But there was no email from coinapult. And when I click the link to coinapult it says that I have 0 coins.

It's been almost 2 hours since I got the email and no change.

Emailed their support address, hopefully will get some kind of response.

I also started a thread about the lack of Coinapult support - hopefully it won't take too many more threads for some support to appear.

Undecided

Yep. Sent it to my tormail address. The time stamp on the email was for the exact moment I paid the clerk at CVS, so it appeared to have gone through.

And like you, I have the confirmation email with all the right info, including how many bitcoins I should be getting, but when I click the link..."0 Bitcoins".  Huh

I've also sent an email to both. So far no response from either.

Read your other thread and that is quite disturbing. This was -my- first experience with both Bitinstant and Coinapult and I have to say...more than a little displeased.

3 hours now and no change.

Also was my first (and I would have to now say my last) experience with using this service.

Mine just now showed up. Woke up, checked my email and there was a email confirming the deposit sent nearly 8 hours after I made the deposit. Didn't hear from either BitInterest or Coinapult customer service, but I did get the coins.

Hope things work out for the two of you.
