Interesting, are you willing to escrow the $3000 USD prize for to a trusted escrow while the boys in this forum try to hack your wallet?

Do u have the privatekey or the secret password phrase? If u have it then u can get your wallet back.
Hacking a wallet is almost impossible, unless u give the hacker ur wallet identifier and it has a weak password, hacking the private key is nearly impossible.

What's wrong with you personal wallet mate?

Have you forgot the private key, deleted accidentally the wallet.dat file?

If it is your wallet it is ok to try others solve your issue, i doubt someone can "guess" your private key.

Have you lost your password, or your private keys? You see, to hack the private key it would take eons, but if you only have a weak to medium grade password you can easily hacked...

Is it a on-line wallet or a wallet.dat file?

If it is a wallet.dat file, You will need a brute force attack. If you remember something of the password, it will be much faster.

Is it a random letter and number password?

Do you need a password? I thought you could just import it into another wallet, or it might be encrypted. If I were you I wouldn't ask any old stranger on here to do it. Go find a professional recovery service that has reviews on here. As long as you have a clue about the password they should be able to get in.

you can recover your lost txt file containing password using data recovery, or you don't have old backup of your wallet.dat file that was taken before encrypting it

Did you back up the private keys anywhere for the wallet?

That would be the easy way to do this..

PM me if you need a hand sorting that out.

he can't do that because that amount is in that wallet itself. Smiley
If there is anything to be done is that maybe one must go physically with him before hacking it. This might just be the option to make the OP feel safer.

The password was on text file and i lost it.

If that text file was on your current PC before you have deleted it, you may try running any file recovery software to try and retrieve back. Although the chances of getting the lost file depends on the time difference between today and the day you lost it, so start running any file recovery software right now. You might get lucky in this way, because I don't think you can retrieve it by brute-forcing as suggested by others, since you claimed your password is way too long.

Quote
its almost 9k$ on it.

I would suggest you to follow this tutorial in order to get that ".txt" file back, although I can't fully assure you about it. There are other free/paid data recovery software out there. Just let them run one by one on that specific drive (where you had kept the file before deleting).

_______________________________________________________________________________ ______________________________________________________

Lastly, never press Shift+Del+Enter after selecting a file, without thinking twice. You may end up deleting your important files again without knowing!

On windows you have up to 30 days before it is really deleted. So if you need any help PM me.
Linux is better to store your bitcoins!
Better option how to store your priv keys and password for wallet is print it or write it on the paper.

could you tell something about the password length? all passwords with a greater length than 7 chars, is almost impossible to brute force.
