I wish I started in 2012 to know about bitcoin so that I have earn a lot of money in 2013.
But nope I didn't buy id, because I was late it to the party.

I bought a lot of bitcoin but not for that price. And yes if I was participating back then i propably would have bought some expensive coins.
When i started with bitcoin, it was already 550 and going down. So yes I bought quite high... ;(

I didn't know much about the bitcoin price when it was at $1,200 so i consider my self as lucky that i didn't buy at a higher price.

Lol even I am lucky because I got it for very less and now it's value has almost doubled and I feel rich now btw I don't think more people would have bought when Bitcoin was at $1200

If someone didn't buy it then price wouldn't go up that higher. Yes I've bought some @1100$ Wink

Hehe true. Tell me did you sold them to prevent a larger loss. or did you keep them.
Hoping for a day to sell them back at 1100 or higher?
I kept some of them to sell at 2000$ (still HODL'ing some of them Smiley )
But I'm not in loss at all, I invested later & made more BTC.

The price at that time was on top and many people bought with a hope that it will be better so not everyone became richer, good to know your similar story with me Smiley

Saddly, My first bitcoin purchase was at the 1100s.  I did try to average down and buy more when price continued to go down.  My average cost today is still around $600 per.   Hopefully, I'll break even sometime next year.

I didn't but there was allot of market activity at the time so definitely some people were buying, that's the thing with BTC volatility is the fact the price can shift very rapidly.

what will you do when you break even, sell? i would just wait with selling untill we reached the block halving. by that time we might see the price come closer to $1000. then you make yourself a nice profit too.

I know some people that bought right at the top, the guys were so pissed off and solt at a loss, bunch of idiots if you ask me, since to win with Bitcoin you only have to wait, and this year we will go higher than ATH, but the weak hands will not reap the benefits.

Thats the thing. If you have bitcoins, you need this thing called patience. You should seen how angry some of my friends were they sold the coins acquired for $10-20 for ~$550, as the price continued to rise to $1,000+. They lost 50%+ profit.  Shocked

I think the price will hit $1200 in 2016. Probably just before the halving, or some time in June.

A friend of mine sold at that price but no one know ever decided to buy at that price.  Everyone I know rode the wave up to the marks above the $1200 and when it was coming back down, they dove out of the way.  Who could blame them.

No, I didn't buy at that time, but learned more about btc from all that attention. Used faucets for the longest time, before getting higher membership

here then getting into signature campaigns. I have since bought a miner and had  miner from before and sold coins that I have mined since. Better

profits since then. Still planning to buy a bigger miner and mine more altcoins and sell them off. I could write money making ebooks and sell cheap, but

good ones for the supplemental income.

With simple trading logic, number of selling transaction in $1200 there must be equivalent amount of buying transaction also. So, there are many buyers who bought $1200 here.

I know a friend did, ended up selling during the peak in 2015, didn't really understand the currency though, went for some "easy money" and got destroyed.
