You could have said the same about $300 throughout much of 2015! Price hit 300, and fell back shortly after in January, March and July. Then, of course, November happened - and now we're discussing 500 instead of 300.

However, you could be right, and it could be too early - I simply don't know. But ruling out 500 on the basis of the previous attempt to breach it, well, that seems too simplistic.

No, not permanently. I do see the potential of bitcoin getting up to $500 but it won't stay there for long.
I think that once it hits $500 a lot of dumping will happen. I don't think it will stay above or around the $500 until next year.
We all just need a bit more patience, it has potential and bitcoin is growing in value everyday.

But the last time the run to 500 was way more steep!
This time it goes slower and looks solid so far.
We will know this when the 500 will be reached again. IF we should be able to hold it however I can see us continue climbing.
But a small correction will happen meanwhile.

No, I do see the possibility for bitcoin to reach $500 but I don't think it will stay there for long. Bitcoin will probably go back down like it did when it hit $400 a couple of weeks ago. Bitcoins reached $400 and went back down to $350 or so. It took a couple of days to get to a stable $400. I can see this happen when it hits $500 as well.

No it didn't , that was just a short huge price rise, 2 months after december price is 430$, and it's not even close  to 500$, it will take some time for price to be so high again, and a lot of time to be stable there

Its a flat line temporary.

You see this all the time with small price struggles, but they eventually go back bullish since people are aware of the halving situation on how people reactions.

I hope you are right.. But since everyone is thinking about dumping their coins when the price go up after the halving, I'm afraid we might be back at this price or might go lower if many would dump..

The price after $385 by the initial days of bitcoin is highly stable and continues growing slowly. Now it has crossed $450, so for this year we can see price above $400 till the end as the above quote.

That is hard to say because Bitcoin is a currency so you never know what can happen with the value around that time.
But of course the most people are hoping that the value will keep stable at that value, but yeah we cant control it.

Considering the halving looks very probably that yes a  value over $500 in december 2015 is feasible.

$500 is not a problem for us. That is just 50 dollar from the current price range. It is achievable within two months.
