I just realised, after looking on here. My android jellybean products 4.0.1 and 4.1.1 both have VPN. I have never used these but it is quite good to know!

Not sure if it is VPN or VPS though!

Has anyone else skipped past this on android (ubuntu) operatig systems?

I am not sure about this. Is there anyone else on the forum with an android os past Jellybean? I only use my Jellybean OSes, haven't bothered to update them in a few years. You could also check this on the emulators that you can legally use from the developer.android.com site, by downloading android studio which has a built in emulator for all public/released versions of their OS!

yes i can verify most if not all versions since then have a vpn feature or a proxy feature. I like to screw around in the file system of android... and most have 'vpndialogs' which makes me assume they have a vpn function. However, if for some reason yours doesnt, there are many VPN apps available on the playstore/aptoide

Someone please correct me if im wrong about this.

It is at the top, below WiFi and Bluetooth settings. I think it is either the one below that or the one that is two below that. It should come up with a kind of menu, at the bottom is VPS (the menu should onnly contain three options). It should work from there, but you will be asked to set a lock screen pin (for some unknown reason!)
