Search engines might get reallllly good in the future. You're an idiot to say how many BTC you have, especially if they inflate 100x or more. Google caches everything, as do other crawlers.

Why are we idiots?

I suppose if you claimed to have 10k BTC, you might be a target. All it might take is some social engineering, exploit, or actual physical access. I know some digital gangsters who'd rob a guy for 10k BTC.

Time is money. This means that if you have spare time, you can use it to make money.

Modular, open, and stack-able miner case.

No one bigger wants to share, but why would they Smiley Except one guy who can buy a used BMW it's mostly lunch money. I thought Vladimir had at least 200k by the way others refer to him in posts I read.

I have  a short question though..  when did the switch between CPU and GPU happen?

What do you mean lost? Mt gox is back up. Did you have a weak password? Was your account actually accessed?

BTW, My assets are about 1:1, at least as far as value is concerned. In actual numbers I guess it is $15:1BTC.

Lost as in, somebody logged in to my account, transfered BTC to his some account (known to have been used in other hacks, including the allinvain 'hack'), never came back.
My password was  pretty decent i think, but there were other ways to get access to accounts. MtGox keeps telling me it's my own fault. But i'm not done yet, although i'm not sure if there's much more i can do.

I got a bit over 20, most of it for translating the Bitcoin article on Wikipedia to Portuguese, a smaller chunk i won in a free lottery (funny, i never won anything in lotteries i paid to play), around 1 from mining, and a few cents from random strangers (random as in unknown; for all i know they could have been standing in line) and one or two small non-anonymous donations; i think i've paid back everything i got from the Faucet, not 100% sure though.

(I dont always get new reply notifications, pls send a pm when you think it has happened)

Wanna gimme some BTC/BCH for any or no reason? 1FmvtS66LFh6ycrXDwKRQTexGJw4UWiqDX Smiley

Was that after or before you claimed to have 0.00 in the 'giveaway' thread? Smiley If that's all from donations since yesterday, holy shit!

Sadly, No. haha

I haven't made any money from my contest threads. (Lost money, actually)

And in terms of donations, I received 1 very nice donation of 0.1 BTC from a user on the forums. Not sure if he wants his name released, though.

In the past 24 hours I've bought some BTC off of Reddit.

Contrary to popular belief, hackers aren't omnipotent demigods capable of obtaining your wallet.dat file simply by casting their 'DO WANT' spells on you.

you are quite right..but what if this thread started 2 weeks ago..and i had the same username for my mtgox account..and a password such as: puppyface...

that, then what if some new guy justs gets hold of lets say, a 1000btcs and comes here and talks about it..and again hes stupid enough to use weak passwords..all im saying is that its best not to attract undue attention Smiley

I have a couple of coins: some from mining, some donations for services, a bit more from luck at the poker tables, oh and dividends from SIN.
I love telling my deeply Christian family that I receive the dividends of SIN.
