Yes. Obviously. Nothing more to say.

But, of course, I'll say more. I consider someone to be Islamic / be a Muslim if they believe both of the following propositions:

(1) There is exactly one god.
(2) Mohammed was a prophet of this god.

This casts a wide net and would probably include many people, but obviously would include all Jihadis, including the Farooks.

And, of course, the Jihadis are following Mohammed's example, as every educated person knows. Everyone who says Jihad has "nothing to do with Islam" is either ignorant or lying.

I don't have a problem conceptually with someone being very evil, but also being Islamic.  But lots of Muslims would not go for this.  For me it's the same as saying "Can someone be totally evil and be Protestant?"
