We are in a peak of an annual Geminid meteor shower.
We are seeing 140 Fireballs vs maybe 10 or 20 on a random day.
A couple months ago i seen my first fireball by accident while out camping.
It streaked in close below cloud high up and i sort stared off in the distance waiting for a possible bang LOL
It was pretty trippy to see with your own eyes !

I found this site one day years ago when i was convinced it was unusually hot out.
I was having a smoke with my back facing the sun in the summer heat..
I noticed it wasn't right.. right away it felt like intense radiation was burning my back through my shirt.
I just knew damn well it was not normal.
I was right, i checked the web site mentioned and we had been hit with an X class solar flare / CME.

So all of us should get the weather.. even space weather !

Meteor show chart for DEC 14th = 140 Fireballs
