I placed some ads spots, it says that when reach to 1000 views will give me $0.03 for each spot. All spots show the message "Advertise on this site". Looks like there is no real ads, but the views are being calculated.

Just get more traffic and you will earn more.

I'm not a publisher, but just a regular site visitor, and I've noticed that ads from BlockAdz tend to have very bad performance at times.

I don't know how to measure ad loading performance directly so instead I used one of those online website speed tests - WebPagetest - on BlockAdz website. I mean, if the homepage loads slowly, most likely the ads are not going to load fast.

The below are some aspects of the test results. They don't tell the whole story so you should follow the links for more details.

Test from Singapore: link to test result

• First view: median load time of 14.976s with 227 requests
• Repeat view: median load time of 5.776s with 5 requests
• 4 out of the 18 views (22.2%) returned Error 504

Test from Moscow, Russia: link to test result

• First view: median load time of 10.574s with 36 requests
• Repeat view: median load time of 6.322s with 6 requests
• 2 out of the 16 views (12.5%) returns Error 504

Test from Virginia, USA: link to test result

• First view: median load time of 8.821s with 36 requests
• Repeat view: median load time of 7.516s with 5 requests
• 3 out of the 17 views (17.6%) returns Error 504

For reference, here's the test result for DoubleClicks by Google from Russia

• First view: median load time of 7.469s with 227 requests
• Repeat view: median load time of 5.680s with 186 requests (that's more than 30x the number of requests on BlockAdz)
• No error

how come they haven't ads most of time. more traffic not effect if you don't have ads to display

I tested it with dev tools. You are right, ads load very slow.
8.9kb file took under 1 second to load and blockadz ads that are only 1.1kb took up to 3 seconds to load.
