I do think mobiles are more vulnerable to hacks.

Not neccessarily, thats why I use a ledger with my mycelium app, not less secure than on a pc.

i would reccomend ios for security, they rarely got hacked as i know, but because the phone was too damn expensive android is my alternative
Why is ios less likely to be hacked than android?

I don't know how less likely it is. I know that Apple's Appstore scans all the codes in the apps your download. If you have an unrooted iOS device and only download apps from Appstore, your iphone/ipad is less likely to contain malware. Google do not scan the codes of the apps on Play store. Apart from that, I have heard that apps on iOS are isolated from each other, they cannot read the data of other apps.

Pretty self explanatory. Do you like Android or ios for mobile Bitcoin transactions?
Bitcoin transaction in ios device is better for me,its more secure i think, ios wust connected itunes, and just little damage from any malware, its different with android,it too many connected with google accounts, and that why i choose ios device for bitcoin transaction.

My personal opinion is that they really do not matter.  When the programs are designed, most designers keep the same general look for the application between both apps, this way everyone is comfortable with each version and familiar with them both if they should ever need to change between versions.

I find doing transactions in bitcoin using my phone pretty amusing. There is a bitcoin atm near my workplace and whenever I need to have some quick cash, I just scan the qr code and I can now get my cash. Pretty neat to use it and that's one of the best things I like in using bitcoins.

I have android and I dont like how it works, I use it only when i need to. I prefer doing things on lap top. I dont know how it is on iOs but i bet that is better then on android.
I think android have a lot of work to do before they start to be good, I will continue to use it just when i have to and when my lap top isnt near. And i just hope they will be better in future, or I will need to buy some ios.. yes that cost a bit more, but I think it will worth.

Is there any differences between android and iOS on bitcoin transactions? Anyways I always prefer android, I once used iOS but I am not comfortable with it. Right now I am using mycelium (on android of course) and so far its working perfect for me. Android is the best Roll Eyes

I am an iOS person and yes I use it for security and simplicity.

Never have any BSOD (blue screen of death) or a manual restart. From friends i know android wallets are very easy to use too.

No. It's unsafe, and its hard to send the right anon on a small screen. The blockchain.info so our horrible, if you've activated it, it only asks for a pin code. Do you know how easy it is to crack those? I use coinbase, and the app is alright, but you can't make new addresses or sign them, unless you use the mobile site and put in the url. On the mobile site, there's no button.

looking for a signature campaign, dm me for that

For me its not safe if you deposit your bitcoins into mobile software wallet.
Because you can easy hack by this using keylogger. like iphone there is no anti virus for ios.
So its better to save bitcoins to local wallet than mobile wallet.

I am using the Copay app on Android and it works well.
I'll have to look into this one.  I'm not tech-savvy at all, and I usually pay for daily items with cash.

I haven't used iOS, so I cannot speak on that, but I have used bitcoin with my android and it's great with the Mycelium wallet.  I probably should move some btc to cold storage or elsewhere, but I'm never dealing with huge amounts.

You're referring to Magnesium Coin's malware and scam attempt right? That's pretty desperate for someone to PM users a link directing you to a android phishing app. People should just download android apps from google play store for security. As a recommendation, you can donwload either bitcoin wallet (by andreas schildbach) or mycelium - those are tested and proven safe.

In my opinion, Both Android and iOS are secure enough to handle bitcoin transaction as long as you know how to use a smartphone securely. iOS is my first choice if I want to doing transaction from my smartphone because its security is better than old version of android.
