I am going to guess that The Halving does not have much effect on BTC prices.  My guess is that BTC relies more on STOCK of BTC to FLOW (like gold), with the added dynamic of incremental changes in demand (like we saw a month or so ago re Chinese buying sending BTC over $700).

But all of this is cause the whale, with a very big amount they can do anything, maybe make a manipulate and another. but this is giving a bad impact for small users just relies on the price of bitcoin.and they can make prices arbitrarily.

If reading this retrospectively, what did you do the day of bitcoins halving?

I am expecting that there will be an organized event and it will be seen on TV. Fireworks and concerts and the like to party bitcoin halving 2016. But in our home since I am the only one doing bitcoin in our area then I will just monitor the price trend, I will wait if there will be an increase on bitcoin price.

The halving is relaly close right now but there is no significant raise on the price of bitcoin. I hope the price of bitcoin will increase soon when the halving come.

Well haha i will surely do something.
Probably will just withdraw my all funds from all of my wallets,and change it into fiat currency.
Then im going to collect my friends which are earning btc too,and just relaaax

and then what? will you quit bitcoin after that?
just let me tell you a truth if by chance bitcoin dead in future. then it will dead just because of people like you.. I see 90% of bitcoin holders are just waiting for bitcoin halving and to sell their all funds and quit.
I am really so worry about bitcoin price after halving. it will dump badly.

This is so funny. Everyone earns bitcoin and hold it just to get profit. And why not to convert it if we are in profit. I would do the same in case I had lots of bitcoins.

Are you sure about that? I never saw the effect from halving to bitcoin in this time, and never saw the markings of bitcoin price will going up. just bot make a big deal with your expectation, better to see the reality. i sure the price is always stable on this value.

As expected, not important volatility before halving. And it is highly likely that after halving time we also don't see any substantial move in the bitcoin price. And I think it is not a bad thing, it is just a clear sign that bitcoin has started a consolidation stage where we will see a more convenient stability in its price, which paradoxically could make the bitcoin more reliable to carry out ordinary transactions and boost its usage on many other stores.

People celebrate the win of their elected president / PM... today but they will only notice the effect of his plan few months later (and they will regret it as always cuz it is politics)
To say that with bitcoin you have to be patient and wait for the halving effect after few days, weeks or maybe few months? But I think that we will not regret cuz it is bitcoin
