moneypaks can be reported stolen. then green dot will go after whomever redeemed it. the person who reported it stolen can prove purchase with the original receipt and the purchase location being near where it was purchased. because green dot says to only buy moneypak and redeem it to a prepaid card or other account of your own, they will favor the party that reports it stolen.
