The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Multiple things are obviously wrong with this.
1: He's from China & I'm pretty sure legit sellers use a more legitimate name.
2: No seller uses skype & then tells people to add them on WHATSAPP lmao
Do not buy from this guy. Just buy directly from the website.

Seems like a scam. Use only the official routes to avoid scamming if you are lacking common sense.

I have had contact with people who work with bitmain via Skype (multiple people)

They use the same format of name. Not sure about the whatsapp but it is a fairly popular texting platform.

I havent talked with this specific person though.

Message me if you have any problems

Wouldn't it just be safer to just use https://www.bitmaintech.com/ ?

I have been through the website and haven't found any Skype usernames. And the emails being used is ...@bitmain.com not ...@bitmaintech.com
They do however yous info@bitmaintech.com but their representatives use ...@bitmain.com

If you did verify he is legit maybe post how?

Indeed.

Why buy something on skype if you have the company's official webpage ?

If he is selling under the price of bitmaintech, ask him how he does it. I mean, I really want to know...

is he selling at a better price than from the website?
i mean does he even offer a guarantee?
if he only sells at a small difference you're better buying from the website IMO.

He is from China....... So yeah. I really doubt that this is a real seller of the antminer. So I wouldn't trust him.

Way easier to use their only store. Don't trust anybody who contacts you over Skype like this. They may have a similarly formatted name but someone can easily fake that. Take our advice and don't deal with this person. If they really work for Bitmain they won't care whether you buy through them or on their website. They're getting payed either way.

I also really doubt that that he is a legit seller of the antminer. That profile looks really fake as well.

For those responding that you doubt he's from Bitmain because he's from China?
Bitmain is located in China.
BUT

As others have pointed out: save yourself the risk/worry and order direct
