Shawn, Amanda and Nick are not racist they have friends in all ethnic groups and lifestyles but that is not the point. They did however make a poor decision in the way they handled their anger and rage. The use of disparaging and offensive language is not acceptable and was directed at Alex only out of anger. Alex and Amanda were indeed friends until he wanted pictures of her vagina. Amanda refused on numerous occasions and when Alex figured he was not going to get the pictures he wanted. He would text very disgusting and hurtful comments to Amanda from his phone to hers. Yes I am sure the records exist. Shawn and Nick learned what was going on and tried to intervene and make Alex stop his assault on Amanda. Alex agreed to meet Shawn and put an end to the situation and yes there could have been a physical dispute or not but Alex didn’t show. They just wanted the texting to end. The video is a result of all that anger and not being able to resolve the situation. Dave V is advocating for Alex and I believe only wants to see more hurt in this situation which is just as sad as the video. A person can believe they are doing the right action but without all the information how can one make a concise decision? How much hurt does it take to end hurt? This is all so sad and heavy on our hearts. Alex gave Amenda the hoodie which he bought in DC, then wanted it back after the picture and texting thing. The boys were the ones that went to return it but Alex would not meet them to get it.
