as we all know bitcoins' supply is finite, so everyone out of greed hoard the things. they don't spend it at all, like a currency is supposed to be used for and so it will never become mainstream.

The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

Bitcoins are available to buy. Your assertion is wrong.

Hoarders reduce supply, which means supply and demand balance at a different (higher) price.  They always balance though.

That price may be seen at mt.gox.  Where you will find a volume considerably greater than zero for sale.

I'm pretty sure that what you mean is "boo hoo, Bitcoins were cheaper last week and I wish I'd bought more then".  Me too.  Cry me a river.

Not all of them yet,  but more and more each week.  One of them is considering starting his own RMB to Bitcoin currency exchange too!
Getting real busineses using bitcoins for day to day transactions is they key to bitcoin's long term success.

Are you still doing the NewEgg thing for bitcoin?  I'll be in the market for some new gear in the not-to-distant future.  Contrary to the deflation/hoarding stuff we hear around here all the time, seems to me people are doing more bitcoin-for-goods-and-services transactions around here than ever.

Bitcoin Fact: the price of bitcoin will not be greater than $70k for more than 25 consecutive days at any point in the rest of recorded human history.

Every BTC I have mined/bought I have spent.  In addition, I am selling goods for BTC.  Get your OM NOM NOM on over here.

Those who hoard it would do well to spend and stimulate the budding BTC economy.  Smiley
