Author Topic: BitInstant Unresponsive, have had my money for a week.  (Read 1310 times)

Hey all,

Not exactly a scam accusation per se, since I've used BitInstant before and normally the service is better. However, when I tried to put in a Dwolla->Coinapult order recently, it failed. So I e-mailed support and they told me they put in a manual transfer. Great, except I never see the email from Coinapult. So I try to contact support again, and don't hear from them again, despite e-mailing daily and calling their support number (and not getting through to any one.) As they have had my money for almost a week (6 days) now, and it's been 5 days since I heard any status updates, I'm trying to escalate the issue by posting here, hoping that calling them out publicly will get me some attention.

So if anything, be forewarned that this guy has had a terrible experience with BitInstant support. Hopefully I can get my money back, either in the form of BTC or USD would be nice.

I'm really sorry you had a bad experience with support. I recall your username and remember responding to all of your emails last week and forwarding your order info over to tech support. Most of our team WAS travelling abroad last week so its very possible that the time difference and travelling has caused a delay.
