ETHERUM will be rise again to 1BTC = 1 ETHERUM  I don't even want to calculate what markcap this would mean, but it won't happen for a long time (exept if BTC crash pretty hard). |

ETH prices actually rose. yesterday I saw ETH price statistics, and amazingly, the price rose to a high, I guess soon eth will compete with bitcoin, may save eth is promising for the future |

Why would it drop if the DAO has locked in a large chunk of the ETH supply, effectively taking it off the market. |

Why would it drop if the DAO has locked in a large chunk of the ETH supply, effectively taking it off the market. For the DAO to fund any projects the ether they took in needs to be converted to fiat. I read somewhere that one of the projects they were considering supporting was a car sharing business in France. You can't buy vehicles with ether and even if you could it would be instantly exchanged for fiat. Basically the DAO has been used to drive up the price and as they spend those ether to support projects it will drive the price back down. Once the ball starts rolling people holding ether will sell as well. This is a very basic example of how financial bubbles occur in the real world. The idea that the DAO ether are taken off the market is incorrect. Those ether must be sold to make investments. If the DAO does not sell it's ether to invest, the DAO will have failed as an investment method. |

The main reason the bitcon has some value is that it is PoW mining. Pow for me is not profitable and you dont know when pow coins will die or how long they are live.. if you bought many altcoin in your wallet even its staking daily its not profitable most of them are died in few months.. so its better to stay at pos.. |
