Mine at Jonny's Pool

I am extending my hand out - to those folks who wish to mine on my pool.

You most certainly didn't hurt me.  What you did do, however, is claim that my pool is the unluckiest pool you've ever seen:
Such an unlucky pool I have ever seen in my life!
I refuted that claim by stating that in fact this pool is quite lucky having found its first block at only about 28% of expected shares.  Also, that we are in fact only 79% of expected shares for this round.  All you looked at was:
I have seen Jonny's pool going upto 1.2Ph to 2Ph during Christmas and New Year still not a single block has been found till today and I have accumulated my 500k shares there just being greedy. -_-
You are basing your understanding on "OMG!  f2pool is the best because they are the biggest!  Look how many blocks they solve!"

If the variance of a small pool is too much for you, which it certainly appears to be the case, then please do move somewhere you feel more comfortable.  As before, I highly recommend kano's pool.

Jonny's Pool - Mine with us and help us grow!  Support a pool that supports Bitcoin, not a hardware manufacturer's pockets!  No SPV cheats.  No empty blocks.

It's too bad he feels the way he does.  Of course, the only other post of his on this thread is asking if I'd consider donating 2BTC and a portion of the block reward to him because he was caught up in some escrow scam.

I am not a victim of that scam. I was just asking if you can extend your hand out but stopped nagging since you neglected replying to my comment.

By the way, if he really only does have 500k shares as he states, if we found a block right now, that'd translate into an expected payout of 0.00015335BTC.  We're not exactly talking about breaking the bank.  It's not even the minimum payout threshold.

My shares are low because I joined your pool only for about 42 minutes and left it after finding that your last block was found on 16th Dec. No offense to your pool if you think I hurt you so badly but I need to join a popular pool where chances of finding a block is much faster. Cheers.

Yeah bro. If you want to earn quick money then join a "legit" PPS pool instead. They will give you money for your shares. This pool is not for impatient like you.

Please join Antpool and whatever pool you feel like and leave here because we will get some more BTC after one miner leaves. Grin

Such an unlucky pool I have ever seen in my life! I had been mining on F2Pool and they pays me through PPS mode whether they receives a block or not. In fact they finds around 149 blocks everyday and is contributing 25% of the whole network. Similarly AntPool. Also look at CK's solo pool. They also gets a block or two in a day. They take maximum 16 to 20 hours to find a block.

I have seen Jonny's pool going upto 1.2Ph to 2Ph during Christmas and New Year still not a single block has been found till today and I have accumulated my 500k shares there just being greedy. -_-

No thanks. Moving my miners to F2Pool again.

You should read a little bit more on how bitcoin mining work. So far, Jonny Pool is a lot more lucky than F2Pool.  Wink

Go back on a pool that use SPV and that dont care about the community loll

One thing folks, I think we should refrain from being super negative towards users who might not agree or like jonny's pool.

It's up to each individual to decide how they want to earn their money - because in the end we are talking money here.

We just have to do our best to explain why bravo-mining or kano or ck solo or wherever is a better option.

If the person decides to go elsewhere that's on them.

My opinion this is a great pool.
I wish i had more hash power to support more.
Tax time looking to get at least 2 S7s and one will be here and the other will be at CKpool.
I like them both so i will support them both.

If you have something bad to say about a pool try talking to who runs it first. Try being a adult.

+1.  I welcome everyone to make their own decisions on where to point gear.  After all, it is in fact your gear Smiley.  As I wrote in the very first post of this thread, my pool is here to offer you another option of where to hash.  If you happen to post factually incorrect nonsense here, however, I will certainly correct those misstated items.  That way hopefully people can learn from those mistakes.

Great gods those S7s are freaking loud!  I really like the exhaust venting right into your HVAC.  Nice setup.  Oh, and those EVGA PSUs are great choices, too.

Thanks guys and those S7 are loud compared to the S5. Initially I tried to put one of those s7's in a spare bedroom and then in the living room these things are just so loud I had to try to think outside of the box. I hope that others might get inspired to find ways of running s7 at their house as well, so that we can help build the blockchain.

FYI: I have also spent days researching fans trying to quiet them down but there's nothing available.

That's a good idea, I never thought of down clock them. What frequency are you running them at and what temperature are they running at? What is the temperature of the room they're in?
