I'm starting to mine for cpu, I Monero mining notebook, I'm considering getting one gridseed. My question is whether it is possible to mine Monero with a gridseed,Hello friends

No, the Gridseed dual miner does SHA256 and Scrypt algorithms but Monero is using an algorithm called CryptoNight.

Correct. You can mine it with a "normal" CPU/GPU though.

I really wouldn't recommend mining on a laptop.
Mine on a desktop and be prepared to clean CPU and slap on more thermal gunk every few months.
More cores = good. Crypto extensions even better!
Minergate is a good option for casual miners - it's easy to switch 'Notes if you want to diversify your portfolio.

For a long term, slow burn investment I would recommend Boolberry (although no Minergate unfortunately) and definitely build up some Bytecoins as well. Monero has a small but vocal following (Some would say rabid following) but the manipulation and alienation of all other alts would put me off IMHO.
