For bitcoin to be spread better, there should be made strategic alliances with some news outlets.
They control the public opinion and when needed they can help spreading the word, with information about bitcoin etc.

Nowadays, bitcoin is already spread accross the world. Many people are already using it as a means of exchange and in 2016 it will go mainstream.

The best way to spread Bitcoin would be accepting it, letting people pay you using it. You can also ask others if you may pay with BTC, you can offer to pay a few extra cents to persuade them more easily.

The best way (as shown on the bitcoin website) is to mail your favourite webshop and ask them to accept bitcoin as payment gateway.

If webshops get a lot of request, we can be sure they will accept it eventually since they don't want to lose out on customers.

it not a good idea to give it for free
it will be better to use it in advertisement  
also make company or shop that will accept or pay bitcoin

Getting the media on board seems to be a very good strategy.

The media in most countries are opposing bitcoin in any way they can, which makes it very hard for bitcoin entrepreneurs to get foot on the ground.

People will get more and more interested when they hear it and buy bitcoins themself.

The media in most countries are opposing bitcoin in any way they can, which makes it very hard for bitcoin entrepreneurs to get foot on the ground.

Media is already on board.   Are most of these posts just filler posts so you guys can spam your signatures?  The discussion here has gotten so weird that I rarely visit anymore, but this is just plain strange.  Every single post is an advertisement for some company overseas, with almost meaningless text in the post itself, always in broken english.

Banners too can help to give the currency necessary publicity.

We can be able to spread the bitcoins if only we are able to share to the people around us the benefits they will have once they participate in bitcoin trading. These people over the years have had a very bad mentality and always associate the coins to criminal acts. I would say promoting Bitcoin at some events or college functions will spread the awareness about Bitcoin because there are people who don't even believe something like Bitcoin exists so targeting cultural activities and having joint venture with retail stores and giving out some discount for payments through bitcoins will definitely popularize Bitcoin.

no one will give you free hash power, unless it is in the order of giga, which is useless and it's better for you to solve captcha and spam faucets every day, which is the thing that is encouraging a bit new adoption
