Bitcoin wallet unable to sync...

So a few days ago i purchased bitcoins for the first time just to find out that i cannot receive them because my bitcoin wallet will not sync... Also there is a message at the bottom of my wallet that says "warning: displayed transactions may not be correct! you may need to upgrade, or other nodes may need to upgrade."

Are you running the latest client? 0.7.1?

Yes, as far as i know i correctly upgraded to version .7.1

Use the MultiBit client, much much better and no need to download over 5GB of blockchain

This said, what do you mean it "is unable to sync"? Probably it's downloading all the blocks and it take like more than a day (that's why i strongly suggest you to use a lightweight client like Multibit)

I downloaded MultiBit, but how do i transfer my old wallet or address to the MultiBit wallet?
