I sent the bitcoins from my bitcoin wallet to my BTC-E wallet, however there is no record of it reaching that wallet, let alone of it being confirmed on blockchain, etc.

He has sent the BTC from his wallet so BTC-E should not have any records. What sending address did you use?

What is the bitcoin wallet software you used to send the BTC? Or is it a online wallet?

Try upgrading to a newer version, the older version may be producing a high S value transactions which is considered non standard.
Before that, make a new backup of the wallet just in case.

1st sorry for reporting your post to be moved here. I understood it so that you could not withdraw from BTC-E.

To remove the conflicted transaction from your wallet you need to:

#1 close bitcoin core
#2 restart it with -zapwallettxes
#2.1 e.g. for windows you open run (press Win + R), enter: c:\Program Files\Bitcoin\bitcoin-qt.exe -zapwallettxes (modify path if needed) and confirm with ok
#2.2. for linux / mac you open a terminal and enter bitcoin-qt -zapwallettxes. That should work in most cases, if not let us know the error message
#3 wait a bit, the TX will be gone once the wallet has done its thing.

Im not really here, its just your imagination.

It's resetting the blockchain, you will have your BTC back once it is finished but it won't take 4 years, that's just the time frame in the blockchain it's at.

That does not sound right. An update to the latest version should not remove the blockchain data.

I have my old bitcoin.exe, and the new upgraded bitcoin.exe, when i upgraded my wallet and ran the application it was upgraded and it displayed everything correctly (still missing the 6btc however).
Then i closed that, and i accidental clicked the old bitcoin.exe, and then closed that to open my new one and now i need to wait 3 years and 50 weeks.. is there anything i can do?
