If some disaster connected with newclear weapons happens, nothing will save us. How can you prepare for it? Even if your survive, the atmosphere will stay pison for dozens of years.

There is nothing you can do. No one ever has managed to prepare himself for the war, you just can't be prepared for something so terrible.  And it's worse than in your worst dreams, beleive me I've been there. And  WW III if it happens would ruin man kind, the survivors would have to start again from nothing, from the very bottom.

Survival skills and knowledge. That's what you will really need at times like World War, although even those might not be enough.
And maybe some BTC for trading I wonder if those will have any value.

A 'world' war would be just that, multiple ICBMs flying from all continents, there would be hundreds of 150 kiloton missiles in the airspace, there would be no world left, not that we could recognise, after the 'nuclear winter' with an atmosphere full of dust, and nuclides - if you survived this extended period, with all dead on the surface, then what... In a full blown nuclear world war 3 there wouldn't really be any "that place goes first". Things would happen way too quickly on a way too large scale.

A well-hidden bunker that's built in the mountains or a forest and that is not bombed that often. If it's found, it should be strong enough not to let in intruders without machines and heavy equipment.It should be at a depth of 3 meters. For one family the area of 30 m2 and height of 2m should be enough. The food should be enough to last for 5 years. Candles, soap and so on, plus you should make a shaft for water in advance. All in all, I can describe a perfect bunker for a while, but who needs it?) You can just go to the mountains and hide there. Other option is going to the open sea if there's no navy. All I can say that wars happen because of people's stupidity.

but if in due course I will go to war and try to survive any way,
