This sounds pretty neat, I can't go next week on the 20th but if you guys are still doing this I look forward to seeing you guys on May 4th. I'm the only bitcoiner in my social group so it will be interesting talking about them with people who don't just go "Byte coins? Do I have to make an account?"

There are miners who are members of the group, but they don't generally show up. We mostly get people who are new to Bitcoin.

How do an international participants get involved. Do you assist some one from abroad to join your meetups. And what are the fees involve. I am interested. I visited one in uK recently and the organizers assisted me with paperworks for me to arrive safely.
