I am only trying to run one card right now, and I am familiar with running CG and reaper, but  Ican't underfstand this effort and how to fix it and very difficult for me to find help on net, me and a friend have been working for about five hours I DID get my LTC rig from cplete failure and majorly increased speed.

Please, any help. I will pay LTC or BTC. PM me if you have time to chat or skye for this, I can even call.

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Check your config file, and make sure that you don't have more variables then you do GPUs. I ran into this issue when I would remove a GPU, but not edit my config file.

Example: I downgraded from 3 GPUs to 2 GPUs, but my config file had 3 values for temp-target. CGMiner didn't like that.

"temp-overheat" : " 95,95,95",      something like that  3 card setup

"temp-overheat"  :  "95,95",            to something like this  2 card setup

"temp-overheat"  :  "95",                  1 card setup

dont forget the comma at the end

can change value (95) to any temp you want, i use "85" as overheat

EDIT: If this helps, consider a donation to kolivas. dont know his address but look around and i am sure you can find it.

Thanks, this is super great information. I kept getting it from time to time when tinkering, but never could uderstand and I thought it meant I had set settings dangerously high or something.

Appreciate it all the help from this amazing community.
