I'm talking about anonXchange. It's a deep web site providing currency exchange: http://6vmgggba6rksjyim.onion/

They owe me Bitcoins for LRUSD 36 and some cents. I've converted about 2 BTC into LRUSD before (within 2 different requests) successfully but my order to get Bitcoins for about LR$36 some days ago is still not processed. I get no response from the project owner about the delay. As long as I don't get the coins my succession is NOT to use anonXchange. Reply if you were screwed too and tell us what he owe you.

Next development steps to go (I'm working on the designs):
1. A decentralized cryptoexchange protocol
2. A cryptocoin with a fix USD/Coin rate

I would never trust an .onion site with my money to be honest. You never know when they could up & run away. I'm not saying all .onion sites are scams but there's no authority for them to report to if something goes wrong.

It's getting mildly concerning that by now the majority of new services I find out about, I find out about via scam reports here. Wtf.

My Credentials  | THE BTC Stock Exchange | I have my very own anthology! | Use bitcointa.lk, it's like this one but better.

It's not really that surprising.  This forum is no longer seen as a reliable barometer for gauging the trustworthiness of Bitcoin services so people have become more willing to take a chance on services which have never been mentioned here.  People have been wanting an .onion exchange for a long time and don't necessarily perceive it as any more risky than trusting more visible exchanges.

All I can say is that this is Bitcoin. I don't believe it until I see six confirmations.

What do you expect. There's a scam accusation for almost every business here. Why....you've started quite a few yourself.

msweb, I'm getting to the point where I'd trust a .onion site more than most "legit" bitcoin businesses. Hard to find an exchange anywhere that won't rip you off. If you do find one, you should just wait a minute - it will.
