As you may know, the IOTA ICO finished a few hours ago.

What will the marketcap be in 30 days?

Also, what kind of success or failure will we witness concerning this project?

ooh ooh me first

first answer:

who cares

second answer:

the success will be that there will finally be a crypto where its market cap is actually of lesser importance than its transaction fee

the failure will be that there will be a successful double spend sending all the Trekkies back to the bitcoin stone ages!!!

mwoo hoo woo oo wah ah ah ah!!

Ok, now get serious. LOL Grin

We can tell by your answer that you have actually read up on it. Interesting

But, sure let's have some fun at it, too!!

Cool icebreaker for the opening of the discussion.

Thank you and Merry XMAS SIR

Why would you say its a scam??

1. At least as much as the last coin that tried to be the internet of things but ended up being too expensive to host the internet of things.

2. Since "things" don't own money, the only place they can communicate without spam is on the internet of those things.  That is success, but its failure to will be the same as bitcoin's biggest failure.  Too many Mark Kerpes people will give IOTA a bad name.

I still don't believe it will work because free cryptocurrency transactions sounds too much like free energy which is impossible.

Oh, boy. Smh

Thanks

see, most people can't believe that you can send bitcoins for free and especially after JINN. But I bought some just in case you really do have Tesla's lost papers

Lightangle

It is how they say it's the silver to the Internet of Thing's gold

Yeah, IotaDark here we come

Agreed, for me IOTA is really the first 3.0 Crypto-Currency (the 2. Generation still have had the Blockchain concept)
It’s trailblazing! Market cap will exceed 5 mio USD very quickly.

I agree 100%

Its a BIG deal. I wouldn't be surprised if it's up there with Ether.

That is if it works, and I have no reason to believe it won't.

Sounds very promising. To getting into the top 10 just 7 million is needed or 1/10 of Ether market cap.
Shouldn't be any problem if the coin will work and the community shows some activity.

What will the marketcap be in 30 days?

750 BTC

Also, what kind of success or failure will we witness concerning this project?

The failure will become when someone overloads his toothbrush with IOTA tokens causing it to explode.

according to the codebeast, you are

In this article, the author mentioned one of the biggest challenges for IoT is privacy and security issue - protecting company and customer data. How can IOTA help and do better in this area?

Iota gives ability to do off-tangle payments which are known to only 2 parties.

Will you be investing more now that you know that the potential degree of anonymity within the Internet of Things is 100% true anon?

If these claims are correct, quantum proof, true anon, zero fees, unlimited scalability, hardware compatability, zero premine public sale of 100% of all IOTA, then I can't wait to see what "problems" the Internet of Things community tackles next.  Probably all the low hanging fruit like Augur clone on this fee-free chain, FACTOM clone on this fee-free chain, satoshi dice, etc.

In other words, if these guys are not scammers, then who in their right mind would build their business on any fee chain when there is a fee free chain in the same room?

How would it be off tangle? How would that work?

I guess competition is so hard, that if you not win (top 10 coin market cap) then you dead in 1 year.

I was interested, and still am, but not enough to sink any BTC into it. Right now, it just seems too "visionary."

Just watched deeper inside the IOTA code and I can only say WOW !!?¿!?

Really guys, no kidding this time, if IOTA works like it's planned to be, this is THE COIN.

It's funny, because even CfB and the other guys don't know the true potential of their creation. They're thinking about IOT and other complex things, but they have created the TRUE BITCOIN.

I mean, IOTA it's so simple, so fast, and so cheap, that it's destined to be the Descentralized digital currency.

Forget about all those promising shits outthere, ANY of them will work as a coin, including BITCOIN.

Congratulations to all those who were part of the ICO, if you have a little patience you'll get the most stratospheric ROI of your lifes.

And congratulations to CfB and team too. You still not assume what you have created man!
