Hi,
Have seen this card mining to a friend's house.
He admit that with binary miners software the hashrate is the same of a R9 290 but with only 200-210 W power consuming.

I think is a great graphics with low power consuming.
What do you think about this card?

I have performed the most faster yobit ico sold out in 29 Minutes.

i ask you just a question...
did you already calculate the ROI to start mining with GPU?

I can safely say if you pay high electricity price, the GPU mining is not profitable for most coins.

What do you think about this card?
It is a good all-rounder gaming card but too late and too pricey last time I checked it.

Sure, i know is too late to start mining, but since i could get one of this card as present, i've checked that is more efficently then a r9 280x or 290, since hashrate is similar but with only 190w consuming.

I have performed the most faster yobit ico sold out in 29 Minutes.

If you do not pay hydro, and stick with X11-X15 coins, you may one day (in the far future) reach ROI of the purchase cost. However, as stated above, GPU mining is damn near dead at this point. (unless you have the ability to code a gpu miner for a cpu coin...)

Ouch. I know.
Just asking if r9 380x is better then r9 280x/290.
It's a rebrand, but same hashrate and low power consuming.

Then I apologize for misunderstanding Smiley Ya it seems better IMO simply due to a lower TPD (total power draw)
According to http://gpuboss.com/gpus/Radeon-R9-380X-vs-Radeon-R9-290 theres not only a good difference in TPD and clock speeds, but the 380 is actually ~150$ cheaper at amazon Smiley

The 380x in NOT a rebrand.
The 380 is a rebrand of the 285, which was a 'side-grade' compared to 280x but still slower than 290.
The 380x never existed before (it was produced for some OEM products only).
The chip is Tonga (GCN1.2) and it is considerably different from previous vidcards.
FYI.

Is 380x better than 280x in Ethereum mining? Is it worth buying it for Ethereum mining?

Can't find any hasrate of 380x of most algoritm such blake,x11,x13,scrypt etc.

Wolf's modified bin simply not work with this card based on Antigua/Tonga.

For Ethereum  mining: 380 is slower than 7950, so 280x will be slower than 280x/7970.
