Do research on your own to find good investments.Go to coinmarketcap.com and read into the top 100 there. You can then choose what is of interest to you for speculative/investment purposes.
I recommend NEM and Ethereum.
A year ago I bought these coins, having seen that with them now I see that my bitcoin balance has decreased by 20 percent, I waited a whole year to get a good profit, since the new ones grew well, as a result, to date, I have a loss on them . I will have to wait another one or two years that I have at least a small profit on them. |

I would suggest you to go for Ripple, it is at about $0.5 only and thus there is lot of scope for growth. It was at about $3 on its peak and thus it should reach this mark in next 6 months easily.

Had a look at some of the coins on coinmarket cap, and their websites. I think lots of coins, maybe 20 or 30 of them have very useful properties and uses, blockchain, anonymity etc. I presume, the future will be a mixed bag of various altcoins.

There are a lot of altcoins with which you can earn a better profit especially from those coins which are in their start stage and which will have better technology and expert developers and will have price in pennies

I've been reading through this forums for the past few weeks and all I see is "this coin is dead" or "everything is a shit coin". Is there any altcoin with the potential to invest in or is it only bitcoin? I don't mean like a few here and there, I mean over 100 coins.
Actually, altcoin but the best value, in my opinion, is bitcoin because it has a high value. Another Altcoin is also pretty good but I believe only a good bitcoin. |

You can give monero a try. It is popular payment medium on dark web and most of those deals are happening in monero only.

Now is a great time to buy ETH, the price is very decently and does not reflect the real value of this coin. This will hardly be possible in the future.

Alt coins is always worth to buy but We should do deep research of that coin that we are planning to buy. We should know pro and coins of the coin. We should always focus on top 100 coins.
For me buying altcoins is really worth it, because there are so many altcoins that has a great future like bitcoin, and one of thos altcoins that has a future and worth to buy is ethereum, ripple and waves, i believe that it can really give us a lot of money in the future. |

Bitcoin could get held then sold when the price is high. Changing that investment to Ethereum is something that you can do with the same steps. In my opinion, you should not investing any amount for cryptocurrency in next few days. Wait the FUD stop, the Indian government really want to make the Bitcoin value dump below $5,000. If $5,000 is still not the bottom price for Bitcoin in this bearish trend, I predict $1,000/BTC is the next support price for Bitcoin, of course, ETH value can below so much in this situation, maybe 70-50 $ |

There is no definite answer to your question as everyone has different ideas on what makes a good investment. All i can say is to do research and invest in coins in which you see potential, remember just because a coin is feature rich does not mean that it will succeed NXT being a prime example. Personally i am invested heavily in bitcoin, litecoin, peercoin and dogecoin as these tend to follow each other when BTC price increases. They are also some of the oldest altcoins around and have considerable staying power. They are also all in the top ten at coinmarketcap.

I think NEO and EOS, In the red market, the EOS coin is probably a blue coin. This is probably the best time to buy and hold on to. I think you will be profitable in the future.

I have been invested in DeepOnion for a few months now and think that's got really good prospects. I have been playing around with the android wallet the released recently this week and its pretty good, quick, secure and easy to use. Think this should be a plus for the value in the future.
The price for Onion is really low at the moment as well, partly because of the large dip the market's in and partly because people are still selling off some of the airdrops, once they stop in a few weeks I think the price will come up quite swiftly as there won't be 300k+ onions coming onto the market every week.
