I've been reading through this forums for the past few weeks and all I see is "this coin is dead" or "everything is a shit coin". Is there any alt coin with potential to invest in or is it only bitcoin? I don't mean like a few here and there, I mean over 100 coins.

I think these coins are the good worth buying now.It has a strong community and it is the very cheapset coins.

True from what I have read online this could be good time to invest in NEO. Many of my friend who told me about it after all have already invested something in NEO. This could be huge jackpot considering that it could be like ETH with many support coins that will come out in near future.

Truly speaking, i do not opt buying coins or trading rather i go with bounty campaigns. Therefore, i do not know much about the altcoins but as much i have heard is that WAVES are totally worth buying.

Well if you want to play safe, go for High market cap coins like Ethereum, Ripple, Monero etc. I have invested a little chunk on these coins.

But right now I have set my sights over FGC which is a bit under the radar at the moment. I am a strong believer in this project. The best thing about this coin is: Masternode with a real life use case!!

there are some good altcoins for daily trading but are not recommended for long-term investments. this is quite difficult because we have to be really careful. So it's not enough just to read and see it in a few weeks.

Exactly. All of these alt coins implement a unique technology, whenever it is smart contracts/dapps, or decentralized exchanges, or even cloud storage from within the blockchain. I think that all of these work well together in a unified blockchain system. Imagine that instead of having a coin for each technology, you get a complete system with all the features of the above mentioned coins.

As for me, my most favorite are Ethereum, Maidsafe and BitShares. They are one of the most advanced alt coins out there, with very huge potential. Take a look at ETH for instance, in which is one of the most popular cryptos out there next to Bitcoin.  Smiley

From what I personally know you can always rely on coinmarketcap top 10 currencies,  because there are statues makes us think that they were tested and found trustworthy. Those like BTC, ETH, LTC and etc.

Im buying all Proof of Stake coins right now.  Passive income is great and I personally feel like PoW is going to see its demise at some point coming up.  Recent report shows .5% of the worlds energy is now used on PoW mining, which is an insane amount! The govs and enviro agencies around the world arent going to sit on the sidelines much longer.  I like FGC, AEG, MANO, and DIVI a lot.  FGC is my favorite because it is a very small market cap right now with a lot of room for growth.  Not to mention they already have multiple working products and are hosting live eSports events at their gaming arena in Vegas.
