Alt coins worth buying

Gridcoin and Bitshares are my two preferred cryptocurrencies, been following them for years now. I assume a lot of Bitcoin's marketplace cap goes to shift to the altcoins in 2016.

MONERO, EOS are worthy. Monero's behavior is very interesting and its anonymity is very pretty for everybody I think. It is too promising as for short terms and for long terms.

I passed some coins on the VIEW, a 50% increase. (EDIT) Actually looks like LOOK is doing better than 65% now for my specific case. If you are a good trader (which I do not, but is finally lucky this month) profitable is done in ETH, FCT, and DASH. LTCs can launch missiles with all these BTC fragments as well as in the next 1/2 years.

I also think the price will rise. But not for now, I think it can still be lower in the next few months and will go up in the last few months this year. I will wait more time and buy some coins that I very interest in such as NEO, ETH, NEM

Not all coins are worth buying, You can say a coin is worth buying if it has a high potential growth in the market which will give you a huge profit if it is reached its peak for the entire year. That is why I recommend for those newbie there to do a research before invest into something so they will not be able to experience huge loss.

I've been reading through this forums for the past few weeks and all I see is "this coin is dead" or "everything is a shit coin". Is there any alt coin with potential to invest in or is it only bitcoin? I don't mean like a few here and there, I mean over 100 coins.

altcoins of course there are good , but you need to be able to choose them correctly , especially in such a market as now , but I think if you buy top coins you will be in the black

There are a lot of coin with good potential and great future out there but as for me, I think localcoinswap, DragonCoin, Litecoin, and PosiCoin are possible good coins for a long term investment.

Now EOS has very good potential and this coin can compete in ETH.  I hope this coin will be popular in the future.

While the price falls it seems to me best to invest in EOS for a long term.  This is a very promising coin.

1. IOTA - 2000m marketcap - first mover advantage, great partnerships but extremely high valuated.
2. Bytecoin - 430m marketcap - i need more research on this, but highly valuated for my taste.
3. Rchain - 140m marketcap - great code, but still proof of stake, which is plutocracy, rich get richer scheme.
4. Holochain - 110m marketcap - good code, unique ideea of not having a consensus, nice contender to all in - decently valuated showing loads of x10-x20 potential if it matures and is successful.
5. Constellation - 8m marketcap - good code, similar to rchain, but a far better consensus based on meritocracy, how well nodes perform. The main selling point of this one over the others is the fact that the busier the network, the faster it gets theoretically. Upside potential is huge, it needs x14 just to reach Holochain's marketcap, its closest competitor.

Best coins I'd go for right now in this branch would be Holochain and Constellation. Seeing their upside potential, my final pick goes towards Constellation

Those are the best altcoins to buy right now. Most of them on the list are DAG-based cryptocurrencies which are proven to be much more scalable than PoW and PoS cryptocurrencies on the market. IOTA will be responsible of transforming the Internet of Things industry with its Tangle technology, while Constellation will transform the payments industry. When these coins take off, I'm sure that many early adopters would become rich as such coins become practical and useful in the mainstream world.

Bytecoin has a similar model to that of IOTA and Constellation, which could prove to become successful over the long term. Among the list of coins mentioned, I would like to add 2 more coins to the list and those are Ethereum and NANO. For obvious reasons, Ethereum should be on the top of your list of altcoins to buy, simply because it will upgrade to PoS in the future, becoming much scalable and secure than ever. If you grab a stake of ETH now, you'll be able to earn more ETH in the future with the stakes earned by just hodling your coins on your wallet.

On the other hand, NANO is a DAG-based cryptocurrency like IOTA and Constellation, with instant transactions, zero fees, and more. This means that the future lies on cryptocurrencies which could deliver unparalleled speeds, zero costs, and censorship resistance. DAG-based cryptocurrencies fit the bill quite nicely, and now it's the perfect time for you to buy them at cheap prices before it's too late. Just my thoughts

Yeah i agree with you! Go for ethereum. Its very reputable and very efficient to buy. Many trust that coin as much as i do. You wont go wrong with it

Yes why not alt coins are very good currency in crypto market. and because right now cryptocurrency Market is down so you can not say that cryptocurrency is not worth buying.

Good altcoins which have low price now are EOS and ETH. You should buy ETH and EOS now and hold, it's not time for day trading if you are not a trading expert.

Yes, these are very good coins for investment now.  EOS does not make sense to hold onto a short term, because this coin has just started to develop.
