I'd like to get an overview which Bitcoin full node implementations does exist?

We have the Monster "BitcoinCore", the smart "Btcsuite" and the ugly (full node) "bitcoinj".

What does we have in addition?

Bitcoinj doesn't really have a full node. It is still experimental, and I don't think it gets much attention.

Besides those three, I don't think there are any other full nodes outside of custom written software for mining pools. Maybe you could count Bitcoin XT but it is really just a modification of Bitcoin Core.

Doesn't Armory count as a full node client?

Not really. It just uses bitcoin core as the verification and networking part.

I haven't tried out pjotr_n's GoCoin, but I understand
that it is a full node.
