was this a story from an existing newspaper article that you decided to call the editor about, and got put through to the FOI officer
were you calling the paper to aid them in a story about to be published
were you calling the paper in the hopes they would make a story.

i think your mindset is a little all over the place making random comments without substance, which any other person listening to you would not find informative or even on subject. i bet you went off on a tangent many times meandering off topic alot.. and when people try to bring you back inline you vear off again.

you have no quotes, you haven't elaborated to questions you or she had, you haven't said why you spoke to her, .. you just made a random comment that basically says nothing..

there have been many times where you have posted something random that makes no point. and all we can elude to is that your bored and just want to write something mundane for your own pleasure.

and yes when trying to converse with you, people cannot tak about it in factual detail. because you do not provide much factual detail, so we have to guess what your point is.. and yes guessing is making stuff up..

so maybe provide more detail. such as quotes links, further information. that way your random posts make more sense

My orginal question was why she wrote the story about Bitcoin and why about drugs

i could'nt get any straight answer at all

story ended up in her lap

she dosnt think it was negative

its her first ever Bitcoin story

it was a waste of time calling her and i see it as

nothing to worry about again when i read these stories

as its just reporters getting handed stuff

and told to follow it up,

she even said why would i write a story on bitcoin

im not in the economics section,

i asked if she writes on crime,

she replied im FOI

it made no sense to me either

The press is usually misinformed and generally biased towards Bitcoin, so it's nothing new. They will run with a story, even if it is a half truth and poorly researched... just to

attract attention. You can never believe most of the #%$^^ released or published, just after a story broke... wait a few hours and you will get a better version of the truth.

When confronted by the truth later, they will just retract the story or make up some poor excuse... misinformation ..da da da... In any way, the whole drugs and Bitcoin thing is

very old news.

i personally have contacted the BBC news, not to grill them about their reasons. but simply to correct them by writing a more accurate version, using links and research to back it up. after that i started to see the bbc change their attitude towards bitcoin.

though i do see the occassional propaganda piece which is an obvious copy&paste job from another media outlet, i have found that showing them real information and giving them the facts helps them change future stories for the better (generally) compared to just grilling them about their motives.. as both kprawn and bitcoinpro both said. usually there are no motives, just bad research.

so to anyone reading a negative bitcoin news article. dont grill them asking why.. its just a waste of breath. instead re-write their article using real facts and research to back it up and email them it.

i tried explaining the bias part in news articles

just have to accept that it will be like this

original metal coins would have had the same gossip as when seas shells where used

then paper fiat would have first only been used for drugs n guns

now its Bitcoins turn
