EDIT: The address to donate to is the same one as in my sig: 1BTC1oo1J3MEt5SFj74ZBcF2Mk97Aah4ac

BUND's landing page for donation via BitPay is http://www.bund-berlin.de/bund_berlinde/spenden/bitcoin-spenden/EUR_eng

Feel free to go the route you desire. Our current drive is to garner up another ~BTC25.

I've been pursuing @LPANational via Twitter only, hoping they come around and become our next recipient.

Bitcoin 100 is proud to announce the latest non-profit to start accepting bitcoins as a donation option on their website thanks to jsmithers' efforts. BUND Berlin e.V. is a member of the international environmental network " Friends of the Earth International "and mixes so well with decisions at the international level.

Although there is BTC396.80800895 currently residing in the pool, not all of the funds are allocated toward the BTC100 needed to send to Bund, of which they are now patiently waiting to receive as promised by Bitcoin 100, hence this drive. While Rassah puts a pencil to the amount needed, I fathom a guess that we're short about BTC50. This will be updated within 48 hours. Until then, please consider honoring pledges, donate to Bitcoin 100 pegging your donation to Bund, or donate outright, whereupon your donation will be allocated accordingly by Rassah.

Feel free to ask any questions related to this company, this drive, or of Bitcoin 100. Thank you kindly for your consideration.

BUND Berlin e.V. is accepting donations in Bitcoin

BUND Berlin e.V. pioneers fund-raising efforts in digital currency being the first environmental NGO accepting Bitcoin for donations.

Bitcoin gradually establishes itself as a virtual currency on the Internet allowing easy micro payments around the world at little to no extra payment fees.

Berlin is an exciting city, an ongoing experiment so to speak, a place where new things are being developed and tried out. As is Bitcoin. Bitcoin has spread as a recognized means of payment in Kreuzberg's Graefe-Kiez around the pub Room 77. Moreover it hosts a regular Bitcoin meetup. Berlin is a well known symposium, conference and hacker space for Bitcoin programmers and advocates alike who have created and promoted remarkable open source software around the Bitcoin ecosystem. This way Berlin is once more vanguard and trend-setter and in some way Bitcoin's secret capital city.
We as BUND Berlin e.V. would like to provide an encouraging opportunity for this new concept. With the kind support of BitPay.com as our payment provider we are offering you to support the important work of a recognized and successful environmental and nature conservation organization in the German capital by donating in Bitcoin.

As part of the Friends of the Earth International (FOEI Germany) network we're also sticking up for environmental protection and nature preservation beyond the borders of Berlin. With more than 480.000 members and supportes in Germany and more than 14.000 of those in the capital Berlin, we're forming a strong unity as one of Germany's largest environmental NGO.
Donations in Bitcoin aid BUND to continue to successfully accomplish its mission and dedication for environmental protection and nature conservation - be a part of this commitment and join in to help! Every donation counts. Thank you very much!

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

<sarcasm>

Please quit donating so much so quickly to Bitcoin 100 and/or BUND Berlin e.V. Rassah won't be able to keep up the paperwork.

</sarcasm>

I believe we are short a little north of BTC25 to satisfy our current commitment. Please consider donation whatever you can to this fine cause or, at the very least, simply pledge your support for Bitcoin 100, whereupon I'll gladly add you to the lists and you can honor your pledge at any future date.

It's never too late, Akka. The address is sig is the correct one to send bitcoins to. Stupid me, I should have included the address is the OP. Thank you so kindly for your intended support, Akka.

Rassah stated that somebody donate a coin less than an hour ago. If you desire to have said donation contributed to your name, please state so.

Also, we need ~BTC36 more bitcoins oppose to the ~BTC25 as I've stated earlier in this thread. Please see this post for clarification: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=52543.msg1391351#msg1391351

I'm going to continue this drive for another 48 hours. It's imperative that we send the BTC100 to Bund shortly after the 48 hours transpires. If you're rig is setting idle, consider firing up them CPUs GPUs FPGAs ASICs and crank out a few bitcoins for this noble cause.

Regards,

~Bruno K~

EDIT: It was Akka who sent the donation, Rassah. Thank you kindly, Akka. I'm going to add you to the lists now.

Bump!

Since Bund has so gracefully started accepting bitcoins as a donation option, Bitcoin 100 has only collected BTC3 of the ~BTC36 needed to reach the BTC100 goal to send to them in about 36 hours. All donations will be appreciated.

Please note that this is not about me but about bringing awareness to Bitcoin.

Since they clearly operate under the Agenda 21, tell them to ask UN for the money.

Or they are oblivious of who are their masters?

I'm versed enough about Agenda 21 (without having to look it up) to know where you're coming from, and your position is respected, subSTRATA. But the fact of the matter is Bitcoin 100 has an unwritten policy to fund any non-profit that only meet other minor guidelines. Perhaps I should pen said policy and include it on the official site.

At the onsite of this endeavor, members expressed concerns about not wanting to donation to such-and-such organizations because of (?). That issue was easily addressed in the sense that in the event a non-profit doesn't tickle your fancy for whatever reason, any member who has donated any bitcoins to the general fund, but doesn't want to see their coin going toward a certain cause, can simply notify us and their donation will be rolled over to the next charitable organization. That is even true with this current drive to fund Bund. No questions asked, nor will an iota of ill-thinking would be thought, at least not on my part.

That said, who reading this desires to donate so we can send Bund BTC100 tomorrow evening?

Coins have been send, but we're a tad short. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=52543.msg1399632#msg1399632

I have penned another thread in this section to garner pledges (not donations, unless...).
