Hi, I'm trying to buy bitcoins through a cash deposit at the bank using bitinstant. When I did it about 10 months ago, Bitinstant guided me to trustcash where I selected my bank and made the cash deposit the next day.

Now, however, they are directing me to zipzap and I can't select my bank, only moneygram locations which aren't in my town. Why can't I go through trustcash and make a cash bank deposit? please help, thanks.

Why can't I go through trustcash and make a cash bank deposit?

TrustCash no longer is serving any Bitcoin merchants -- BitInstant, AurumXChange, etc.  They may have another solution at some point in the future, but for now there is no cash deposit method at a bank.

Quote
The cash deposits to banks have been suspended as we’ve had a number of problems with our partner. Until these problems are resolved, we won’t be accepting the cash deposits at banks.

If you have a Chase branch nearby you might be interested in BitMe, which accepts cash deposited at Chase:

You might also try a Local Bitcoin trade:

And if you weren't aware, there is now a BitInstant support thread that even those in Newbie jail can post on:

Hello Sir,
Would Trustcash be used in the future or they are not going to be an option anymore?

Thank you
