As the title says, is anyone betting on the American election? Who are you betting on? Trump?  Clinton? How much did you bet?

I personally think it's immoral to bet on elections, because the election odds at a gambling site will usually foretell who's going to win the election, as the same people who are betting are voting.

P.S. Betting on the next pope isn't allowed, so why should betting on an election be allowed? Now that's just messed up.

I will not bet on this election because this time not very easy to guess who will win. Also odds may not be so great so I will chose some sports to bet instead in election.

Election winner is not so easy to guess the winner because even poll results also will go wrong in may times.

Not really any great odds. Clinton will probably win. I would put Bernie Sanders in as a long shot.

I would take Democrats to win the election though if I can find good odds.

I agree with you. I think Hillary Clinton has a lot of chances to win, but knowing that gives us nothing because almost everybody knows that so even if they are accepting bets like this somewhere the odds will be very poor.

Yep, you can bet on elections, interest rates and all sorts of things. First time I've heard that betting on the next pope is banned though.

I don't even see Donald Trump as possible winner. Putin supports him, so he has a good chance of winning.

Same here I reeally cant see how the democrats dont roll here. I mean
trump is fun and kind of like the town joke and people are saying they
will vote for him but when its actually time to vote i dont see how he
beats hillary.

I'm not going to bet though but I don't see Trump in Directbet on US Politics - Next President. Why is that?
The guy seem to know how to be on the frontpages and be on the headlines on media shows. He does seem like trolling every now and then but he has tons of supporters like a celeb. Smiley

I'm not. I learned my lesson last election when I lost. Mitt Romney was leading in all/most of the major polls leading up to the election having destroyed Obama in the presidential debates, but still ended up losing the election big time anyway. Although I do remember most of the betting money being on Obama. Me so stupid.

The Stonemasons/Illuminati/NWO is real. They will put into office who they want. When citizen's votes are bitcoin verified is when I will bet on elections again.  Grin

Betting on the Frontrunners at present, can't do a dem vs republican bet until the primaries are over.

I won't bet on it because I'm not American so I don't follow it closely (the same reason could justify my participation because I wouldn't be voting). Also this would be hard to predict who will win. By the way, betting on Republican and Democratic winner of primary isn't that hard, or betting on winner in each state. Maybe I'll go for one of these options.

To DirectBet : yesterday I've noticed that Donald Trump name was given on the Republican candidates. Why ? Maybe this was just a temporary big and thus I apoligies.

PS : Merry Christmas everyone !
