It is not quite over for the year.  One more bounce back up and then the new year will begin.  Next year will be quite interesting.

Around $40-50.  That is considering the last I checked before just now it was around $495 and now it is around $440.

$440 and going down.
If you just look at how much volume it took to bring us slowly back from previous $440 to $460 and how very little it took to bring us all the way down again you know the only thing it's going to do is go down for a while.

I think it will drop a bit further however not past the $400 line. If it does, the fall would be around to $300.

Thats the thing, it is not so much about volume at this point than the variation in buying/selling prices.  It only takes one person selling at a low price to set the trap up.  That one person on one exchange will obviously fill that order quickly and that will knock the bar down for future sales.  Plus, I have one wallet with around BTC6 in it.  If I go on an exchange and drop all that for $350 per coin, then everyone that sees that gets scared and drops theirs for a low price to hurry out of the market.  Then, the whole internet gets scared and does the same.  The thing is that a good trader will buy those up and then wait a short period for the market to recover and make a killing.

It's hilarious to see people trip over each other to sell in fear time and time again... also a bit sad...

It is inevitable for bitcoin prices to fall, what do you expect at the holiday season? No exchanges are open and people are on lounging around. Just hope it rises back up after tomorrow. The sales, if there is massive buying in bitcoin, will rise it back up to levels of last week, $475 about.

Hopefuly you are right, that's what I expect, however I can't complain, bought at $250 , and made a lot of money, however this is an investement, not planning to sell for a long time.

The thing is that no one uses the hedge fund system with Crypto.  I have a "fund" and if the sky were to fall with one coin, I have backups of several coins that will "hedge" the drop.  Putting all your eggs in one basket assumes that basket will never fail.

Don't understimate the effect of Christmas sales and the lack of volume and money flowing into BTC.

Holiday's bitcoin tradings are known for some reverse aspects. I do see this pull back is to get more power to go forward to break the barriers around $470 to $480 levels. Hoping $500 price levels to welcome the New year.

Well this is the point of being a smart investor. By not putting everything in one go or into one investment. Saving enough for another day would be a more sound decision to make when there is not too many eggs available in your disposal in the first place.

It was $495 as I was told 2 hours ago, I'm not sure if this information is correct but check my post below, they quoted what I am stating here. So if that's really what happened, yea it was a big fall.

China fell harder than BFX. BFX fell from 460 to 437.xx. Still not a little drop. I have no idea about the futures price before and after, nor do I care. China volume is BS so their charts are BS.
