Just downloaded wallet 1.83 as I have been told 1.10 is a pig to download chain.On this wallet I have no connection and cant download blockchain. Any tips please

I have version 1.10 and that version still works perfect. It goes perhaps a litte bit slow to download, but anyway it goes much faster than the bitcoinwallet.
At this moment i have 8 connections to the network and the download of 1 day takes about 5 minutes.
Didn't know there was a never version 1.83. DO i have to update to that one, or can i continue with my 1.10?

1.10 is the new version but 1.83 has all the critical updates.I have no connections and its not my firewall as i just downloaded Litecoin wallet in minutes

with version 1.10.0.0-bb4b082 i only have 3 connections.

do i have to add nodes manually?

i bought doge, so i need a wallet.
i won't let them hang around on an exchange or in the cloud of someone i don't know personally.

Thats doge official blockchain wallet,remember to download the paper wallet backup I just store mine on the drive as then i see address and private number in case

You can go here as well http://dogecoin.com/ and they have a list of wallets to choose from. If I'm not mistaken that one is on there site. I think that is the main site for dogecoin, but maybe someone else will correct me. They also have a link for a paper wallet as well if you don't want to keep your coins online.

just sent nearly half a million to another wallet of mine from my main wallet says its there on block chain but wallet does not show it

for OS X there are only two option. core and MultiDoge. but Multidoge needs Java SE 6-Runtime. And i am not in the mood to install java. so i just have to wait and wait and wait.

AsI said sent Doge from my cold wallet to one of my hot wallets but it is laying on the blockchain unredeemed,suggestions fixes ?

Anybody have a problem with MultiDoge wallet?I did not open wallet about three months,and now I have a problem that wallet is really behaving strangely.I update to last version,it synchronized with no problem but I could not see transactions.I have backup of my wallet file and private keys so I uninstall wallet and install again.I see that is synchronize,but the whole wallet seems strange, broken ..I have latest Java installed on my PC.What could be the problem?
