Yes I do believe that Satoshi is just on this forum. If at all he is the person who has developed this system, he is aware of all the security flaws that are present. One thing I am also sure is the fact that he will uses different identities on the forum, it becomes very difficult for one to be able to track and find him wherever online. It will be every difficult to have him taken down unless he comes out in open to declare the identity. I therefore support the other members who believe Satoshi is still on bitcointalk.org

My gut says he is sneak peaking on this forum. Replying threads from high rep. members, like a grandmaster teaches his chess students.

I disagree. This place is a pit of vipers. Satoshi is probably too sensitive. Gavin schooled the CIA and even he refuses to step foot in here.

Forgive my petulance and oft-times, I fear, ill-founded criticisms, and forgive me that I have, by this time, made your eyes and head ache with my long letter. But I cannot forgo hastily the pleasure and pride of thus conversing with you.

It's quite possible, I would be curious as well as to what people are thinking and what their speculations would be. I'm sure he/she or they are lurking every now and then. Bitcointalk is one of the biggest forum about bitcoin, so I wouldn't be surprised if they did.

I think he is a lurker.
So he became very active and then dissapeared. This don't happen in 1 day. He needed to spent less and less time and with that his role on this forum was a BCT lurker.

Is he still there? How do we know he's ever been there? This board was created the 2009-11-17. Is there any proof Satoshi was involved in its creation? Note that's it's possible to check who were the first members here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=mlist;sort=registered;start=0

Just wondering, if you believe that Satoshi is still participating on Bitcointalk.org actively using a different pseudonym?
For some reason I do think he is amongst us. I don't think its far fetched to think that. Better question is do you think you have talked to him ?

Most probably yes. He could own another account and still be active in forum. I don't really think he's detached from bitcoin.

Nope. I don't see why there would be a reason for him to follow this forum? He might have done it in the past, but for such a technical person there is not much interesting stuff here for him to read through, or even participate in. He is either working on something completely different, or is simply enjoying his life. Good luck to him.

He must be still here just visiting threads and may have even use the search box on the top searching his name there and reads the threads about him and relies to the thread telling us Craig is him so we won't be looking for him anymore. But he is here still thinking he really made things great.

cool question; cool topic.
If I were one of the primary "satoshi" devs, I would be curious & lurk.....then probably get sick over the banality here....

I could see him being active as a private member just to read certain threads and follow certain things and still wanting to remain anonymous.
