Leaving this forum completely has no reason in my view. I too strongly believe that Satoshi must be reading our some/good discussions at least as a guest (without logging in). |

I too believe that Satoshi must be visiting this forum on regular basis. It is a every human nature to watch how their child is performing. Satoshi will not be an exception to ignore his beloved hard work. Exactly he must be watching us for sure and he would be quiet satisfied with the response his invented technology is receiving from the people across the globe, and who knows at the same time he might be busy in inventing some new crypto. Makes perfect sense that he is still involved several different levels. And yes even a new crypto. Now that would would awesome! In fact the more you think about it.... |

i do not think satoshi is watching us or he is even here . i think he don't even know about the present situation of bitcoin . everyone of us knows it clearly that he had not said anything when we found him he clearly said he was now moved on with this think

Well, I would like to believe that Satoshi still dropped in from time to time and inserted a thought here and there. However, I believe Satoshi designed this whole project as an experiment and if that were the case, he would refrain from participating in order to receive more objective results. I somehow get the feeling that Satoshi was not motivated by wealth but by the pursuit of freedom and knowledge.

He was active until he died. I believe Hal Finney was Satoshi.
I also had those thoughts but then I ran across these, and I changed my mind. If Hal Finney and Satoshi Nakamoto were the same person, then why would he be talking to himself? I guess it could've been a diversionary tactic from the beginning....but for what reason? I especially liked Hal's speculation on the value of bitcoin if it became the dominant payment system! |

It might be possible that satoshi could have another account on the forum. He surely is active and cheking it all from behind the curtains.
I don't believe he could stay away from it all.

I don't know if satoshi is still active here. He might have had a lot of bitcoins from earlier, on a different wallet, where he mined a bunch at the beginning of bitcoin.
He could just be enjoying his fortune.

Yeah if he is a normal human being like us then he would surely can't stay away from his creation, but he is superhuman then I don't think he would care that much, he must be enjoying the success of his invention and would be satisfied with the response he received from the world. |
