I think you are scaring people away by not giving details of the problem. Techie people like to have the problem figured out or at least narrowed down before they get there.

Give as much detail as you possibly can. This is needed from a troubleshooting standpoint. Quite honestly I'm sure somebody could diagnose this remotely without ever needing to step foot in your place. As nice as a warm cooked meal can be
. Worst case scenario it's a hardware issue and you/they need to order some parts.
