Does look like someone placed an interesting puzzle in the blockchain for us.

It appears to me to be a game of some sort:  if you crack the sequence you can get the BTC.

Lets start by what we know:

The BTC values of the outputs (0.001 through 0.256) are obviously the sequence numbers and the private keys are the sequence values.

How many of the sequence values do we already know (have been found by brute force)?  

Is the list in this thread the entire list of known values from the sequence?

But, rather than doing that without any leads, i think you better try to brute-force bitcoin address which created using brain wallet.
In past some people collected some dust at brainwallet.org, they just use common words to did it.

Would be great to see someone can steal someone bitcoin in this way

Since most people, especially those with paid signatures, don't read entire or even part of a thread before they blurt out a comment or opinion maybe we move the puzzle to a new thread?

If the sequence is the same for the private key excluding the last 8 characters then why cant you just brute force the last 8? That would only take a few days/weeks for each unspent address assuming that the start of the private key remained the same for all of them.

Edit:- never mind i see the last ones you posted are up to 10 digits.

So just for the fun I created this bot that brute forces Bitcoin addresses.

Of course its nearly impossible to crack any normal generated addresses but as I said, just doing it for the fun )

Here is what i did:

1. Grabbed all unique public keys in the blockchain and placed them in a local Database

2. Coded an app to generate private keys from Bigints (Both compressed an uncompressed) with multiple RNG types

3. For each PVK generated the app checks the Database for a possible public address match

4. A txt file is created with the PVK and Public address in case of a match

5. I will run the app for the next 464656656565656566565646367618239128323718298319239129309 years to see if I get any good addresses ))

I got dozens of used addresses but they were all empty already.

Also did with dictionary attack and got dozens of used addresses, all empty also.

If someone interested I can sell a copy of the app + the database (around 10 GB) for 1 BTC.

A little. I mean, it's kind of an ethical quandary. If you run across a wallet lying in someone's driveway, do you scoop it up and continue on your way? Or do you consider it the rightful property of the homeowner? That's pretty clearly analogous to running across someone's poorly-constructed brainwallet address with funds in it.

And to be honest with you I don't really care about the 32 BTC, I'm just in for the challenge.

concentrate your time to work on the puzzle.  i'm sure someone else can help open another thread soon.  i will make sure to post your puzzle there for all, to help you solve it.  i will start sending a list of big addresses.

It is a mathematical puzzle with a BTC reward.  So, it is not stealing.  See the other thread.
