How to get many referrals?

I just wondered how some people get a few hundred dollars a week from referrals? I found the site http://easyhits4u.com, but i didn't got any referral from it. It's worthless time spent there...

Do you know any strategy? I just want to get a few. If i'm making $10 a month i would be happy for now.

Maybe i should add to my request, that it should be for free. I personally don't believe in adsense and such things. I  never click on this and it's annoying i can't imagine someone is clicking on it and then for e.g. buying a contract.

Get onto popular websites and try your luck. You won't get a ton of referrals straight away, thats not how it works. You have to work hard and you my get a lot.

I do earn  a lot from the referrals i the field I work in. On thing that I have been able to learn is that the referrals grow. The company I am working with will have you earn from the network generate through the person you first referred. I have only referred 10 people into the company and i keep earning dollars everyday since the 10 have also referred people and the chain is now bigger. Just make sure that the referral program works best for your interest.

Best thing to do to increase your ref number is to do your own kind-faucet site/banner rotator and promote your link through this site....
If you are able to increase visibility of your own site you can also sell some ads space on it making some extra money.

Buy ad spaces and place your ref link in them.
Or have your own website and but your ref link there.

Find money making forums via google, than under the make money section post your referral link if allowed.
