I just created this new address in my blockchain.inf/MyWallet - 12LFYVWKz5wWaofhHGnB5EXtkJwGV2yGAy - as you can see it has the word GAy at the end.  Can I get the private key for that address and sell it, is that possible.

You can export it but nobody is going to buy it, for at least two reasons:

1 - you know the private key so it's not private anymore

2 - anyone can generate a "gay" address themselves with minimal effort, or hundreds if they wish

3 - why would someone value an address that contains the word "gay" over any other address, or any other word?  I could see 8-year-old boys laughing at it for second "look it says gay!", but afterward, you realize that random letters are going to sometimes spell words by coincidence and that this isn't really all that rare or unusual.

Companies claiming they got hacked and lost your coins sounds like fraud so perfect it could be called fashionable.  I never believe them.  If I ever experience the misfortune of a real intrusion, I declare I have been honest about the way I have managed the keys in Casascius Coins.  I maintain no ability to recover or reproduce the keys, not even under limitless duress or total intrusion.  Remember that trusting strangers with your coins without any recourse is, as a matter of principle, not a best practice.  Don't keep coins online. Use paper or hardware wallets instead.

There really isn't a need to post this discussion twice.  Once is enough.

I just created this new address . . .

I didn't post it twice did I?  Oh I thought because it was at the end and not the beginning it was rare.  As for who would like such an address like that well probably a gay person or organisation.

I expect it would probably have the same popularity as addresses ending in "str8" for straight people.

It is pretty fast with vanitygen for something that short. I got these as soon as I hit the ENTER key:

Difficulty: 77178
Pattern: 1GAY
Address: 1GAYKhzx9vEbAeGHUg8odmDbj8yXpMp5Sd
Privkey: 5J...

Difficulty: 77178
Pattern: 1Gay
Address: 1Gayzdxb5DSTMxSQAvEpsomMBgmWgg1yBd
Privkey: 5K...

As an example of how much it might be worth -- it would cost you about 0.01 BTC for the vanity pool to find something like "1Gay..." or even "1iAmGay...".

Sorry, I don't know the answer to your initial question.

1FabuLous... perhaps, but if it's at the end then:

1...CuteButt maybe, both as easy, combined though may be a winner for you but rather hard to hash

ie, borrowing from your example:   1FabuLous5wWaofhHGnB5EXtkJCuteButt
