Seeing as its Hanukkah for the Jewish community right now I think it is an excellent opportunity to give Bitcoin as gelt. For those of you unfamiliar with the the term, gelt is a gift of money often given to children at Hanukkah. While often this is just chocolate coins in foil, some parents do give real money. It teaches children the responsibility of money and many choose to donate it or give it to a cause of their choice.

This Hanukkah, WalletBit encourages you to give Bitcoin to your children for gelt. If you are not Jewish than consider the value behind such an act and consider giving your children Bitcoin for Christmas or whatever holiday you celebrate.

Happy Hanukkah/Christmas/holidays to everyone!

While I'm a Christian, I think I'm going to start giving gelt to my kids...it's a good way to teach them about money...now I have a good reason (for me) to use Casascius'/bitaddress.org's bill printer thing...

Thanks for sharing this interesting bit of culture!

Hardforks aren't that hard. It’s getting others to use them that's hard.

Attended my family's Hanukah party last night, and gave out some BTC's! Got a few new blockchain wallet users out of it.
