273 pages of lies and condescension. They are behind Wikipedia anti-Bitcoin vandalism.

To be aware of the people trying to sabotage Bitcoin. This is the kind of snakes that are trying to bury and destroy your work. Don't you think it is a good idea to know about them?

Let them have their fun. It's difficult for a dimwitted person to understand bitcoin. Bitcoin has gotten way too big for them to do anything about it.

Wikipedia user page of Rudd-O. His rude behaviour is contributing to Wikipedians anti-Bitcoin mindset.

Theirs is not dimwittery. Theirs is hostility and hate. Look at what they say -- that is not the product of simpleminded fools. Wikipedia vandalism is not a honest mistake or oversight. It is deliberate.

Ah, I am to blame for the anti-Bitcoin hate, apparently.  It is not all these douches openly lying about Bitcoin and vandalizing Wikipedia. The problem is with me.

Sure. Aha.

I am just going to add greyhawk to my ignore list.  Presto, done.

Aren't you forgetting to mention that Bitcoin was added to the Highest-valued Currency article on Wiki in response to a dare on reddit - a suggestion made by a poster named trollilio - a deliberate change which could be considered "Wikipedia vandalism" itself?

And greyhawk, you forgot to follow his flowchart.

All I can say is that this is Bitcoin. I don't believe it until I see six confirmations.

To be aware of the people trying to sabotage Bitcoin.
When the time they spend starts producing tangible results, lemme know.

Fair enough, but they are obviously not smart enough to realize the potential bitcoin has (not just as a monetary system). Anyway, like all bullies, this is exactly what they want and expect - someone to argue with them. It will anger them the most if we leave them be and outsmart them in another way. When enough people know about bitcoin, they will have no choice but to give up.

It was added a long time ago before that post. I merely readded it.  The readdition was merely restoring content that was vandalized by being removed, and properly sourcing it. Check the change log if you doubt me.

I am in no way suggesting to argue with these malicious vandals. Just to be informed that they exist and organize against you.  You cannot reason with bullies.

Idk, do you mean results like exposing Bruce Wagner as a kiddy-diddling mortgage scammer, uncovering BFL executive staff's prior conviction for fraud, showing and warning how pirate was running a scam for months before he skipped off with all of your coins?

Ignore the troll guys. He is probably one of the SA goons masochistic enough to come here and witness how the Bitcoin he hates is becoming more and more successful.

First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they attack you, the you win.

Sorry. *tangible, negative results. At any rate, they were responsible for warning and showing people Pirate was a scam?  Cheesy

Rudd-O reminds me of El Bruto in the movie of the same name by Luis Buñuel. Sadly we haven't reached the end of the movie yet.

We were warning against investing with him for months. Of course no one listened because everyone just saw "7% weekly interest".

I'm pretty sure people were warning against sending Bitcoins to him since he started, being one of those people and all. I changed my tune and put some coins in a pass-through after the Vegas meetup, but I'm an idiot. I'm sorry for what I said earlier in this thread, though... disingenuous trolling.
