How do these unusual transactions occur?

Is bitcoin actually sent from the addres or does the erson keep that address, and how is this verified by the miners (or is it not?)

Thanks for that! It was useful for the answer.

So, people just run scripts to try to manipulate the bitcoin network to see if they ca get anything rom them.
OR
They may just be testing a script.
