If you have enough money then buying bitcoin must be a good idea. It can be either a full bitcoin or some mBTC also. Buying is alone important.

Definitely. It is a really good investment. I did it and I have already broken even from what I paid. Absolutely love Bitcoin.

Hold the bitcoin man, the price will rise sooner or later. Dont waste it for something not necessary.

Maybe if you hold it long enough the price could rise up until $600 or more.

I think the $370 is the bottom of long term bitcoin price. So if you want to buy for the future, it is the buying time.

Stagnant price is usually a good moment to buy bitcoin. Just look at what happened when it was stagnant for half a year around 200 usd.

If it is clearly declining, it may be wise not to buy yet if you want to try and catch the bottom. Otherwise, just go for it. It is very unlikely you will get the lowest possible price anyway.

I would say yes, if i had enough cash ofcourse, because it seems that in coming few months bitcoin price will grow gradually and then selling them will earn some profit surely.
It will be a wise move to buy a bitcoin now and hold it for a price grow and then sell it for a profit.

Thanks for all the advice guys.

I have savings and 450 bucks isn't too much to forget about I'm prepared to take the risk.

I'm thinking it might be a good investment in say 5 - 10 years ?

Fuck it, do it  Wink
If it goes to $1m then you'll be a guru and if it goes to shit you can look back and laugh.

Thankyou all for the advice,
Just purchased it and do not plan to sell for years to come.

It amazes me how many people jump on a thread such as this, clearly don't read the OP or first page at all, and make a post. For all you latecomers trying to up your post counts, the OP bought his 1 BTC back on the first page and clearly he doesn't need your johnny come lately advice anymore.

BTW bjbear123, congrats on your decision. Even though BTC is down a bit from when you bought it, I have confidence as we get near the halving and beyond your investment will pay off.

If you can afford it with extra cash you are okay with losing some of then I guess it is OK, it mainly depend on whether you expect to win fast which will most likely not happen, Also a whole bitcoin is not necessary but the more the better if the price moves favorably.

Yeah I think this is the right time to buy some more bitcoins and hold it for the future, as the price of bitcoins at a moment is not too high, so if you can afford to buy, then just go for it, and wait till it crosses $600 mark.

That's correct, bitcoin is still a new technology to many countries, and many of them are not aware about the benefits associated with bitcoins, once they start knowing bitcoin, they would start investing their money into it which would take bitcoin to new level in terms of value.

To buy bitcoin as a long-term investment must avoid three things:

1. Being impatient as price would not change in some timeframe
2. Panic sell if someday BTC/USD will fall significantly
3. Selling after little price rising, to gather any revenue

It could be summarized as PATIENCE Smiley

You could, though of course I recommend not investing more money than you feel comfortable losing. I usually recommend that you earn Bitcoin however you can, including checking out the Marketplace here. Selling stuff that you don't want anymore usually works well.

That's working methods but need some time and patience, i think if someone have the enough budget and would like to hold the coins till the price getting high as expected soon this could working and making some profit
